Salt marshes of Lancashire

These images were taken in self-isolation on a farm during the first UK lockdown of 2020. The sun-lit banks of the Morecambe Bay provided a great relief for those taking advantage of the allowed one hour of exercise. I used the unexpected opportunity to explore the surrounding salt marshes that form naturally on the coast during high tide where one of the rare subjects worth documenting were the unperturbed and sometimes curious grazing sheep. The picturesque landscape proved to be an ideal setting, offering an immense relief in the times of stress and uncertainty of the COVID pandemic.
